This training session equips staff with essential knowledge and strategies
to support children and young people who have experienced difficult life
events. Grounded in key frameworks such as The Polyvagal Theory and The
PACE Approach (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curisosity and Empathy), this
session explores how these approaches help build safety, trust, and emotional
regulation in the classroom.
Delegates will gain a deeper understanding of how trauma affects behaviour
and learning, and how a trauma-informed approach can create a more
inclusive, supportive, and an emotionally safe environment.
