Emotional Freedom Tapping (EFT)
Did you know tapping has been clinically shown to reduce stress, anxiety, depression, and pain?
Over 100 neuroscience studies show that the Emotional Freedom
Technique (EFT) quickly calms the brain’s emotional centers and takes the body out of a fight-or-flight response.
By tapping 13 specific acupressure points while focusing your mind on a stressful event, it’s possible to retrain your brain to respond with calm instead of stress.
But you need to know exactly how to tap to reduce the stress response and get results.
We can show you.

Small changes can make a big difference. 🧡
Creating a sensory-friendly classroom doesn’t have to mean expensive equipment or a complete redesign.
Sometimes it’s about noticing the environment and making small, thoughtful adjustments to reduce sensory load and support regulation.

🧘 Calmer spaces
🏃 Movement
📅 Predictability
👀 Visual overload
There’s no one-size-fits-all approach, observe, get curious and adjust.

🍎 The first few days are over… but transition isn’t.
For some children and young people, returning to school can take far more energy than we see.
New adults, new routines, new expectations, different sensory environments and lots to remember can all add to the load and sometimes the signs that a child is struggling don’t appear straight away.
Over the coming days and weeks, we may begin to notice changes in behaviour, engagement, regulation or a child’s ability to cope.
💛 This is where we need to stay curious.
What might be underneath the behaviour? What has changed? What could be making things feel harder right now?
Small adjustments, predictability and connection with trusted adults can make a big difference.
Because transition isn’t just the first day.
📌 Save this post for the weeks ahead and share it with a colleague who might find it useful.

✨ The schools may have been quiet… but we certainly weren’t! 👀
What a busy couple of INSET days it’s been for our team!
We’ve been out and about delivering training and support at All Saints, Heathfield, Bishop Bridgeman, Castle Hill, Ladybridge, St John’s Primary in Kearsley and St Catherine’s in Horwich, with members of our team even travelling over to Bernard Gilpin Primary in Sunderland! 🚗💨
We’ve covered everything from PDA, sensory processing and neurodivergence to emotional regulation, working memory, adaptive teaching and setting SMART targets.
And while the topics may have varied, the purpose behind them was the same: supporting school staff to feel confident, informed and equipped to meet the needs of their pupils. 💛
No children in school certainly didn’t mean the learning stopped!
It’s been a very busy couple of days… but we wouldn’t have it any other way. 🙌
A huge thank you to all the schools and staff who welcomed us!
