Executive Functioning – 28th January 2027

This training session will help staff understand executive functioning and how
differences in these skills impact on neurodivergent learners in the classroom.
The course explores key areas such as working memory, flexible thinking,
emotional regulation and organisation, linking these to everyday classroom
experiences and behaviours.
Delegates will gain a shared language and leave with practical evidence
informed strategies including scaffolding, environmental adjustments, and ways
to support independence without increasing cognitive load so you feel more
confident supporting learners both academically and emotionally.
