Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) – Tuesday 2nd March 2027

It is estimated that Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) may affect up to 3% of children in schools, and up to 27% of children in care, yet many teachers know little about the effects of prenatal exposure to alcohol on pupils’ education and life chances, or how to support them to make academic and social progress.

This training aims to increase awareness of the challenges pupils with FASD face and to provide educators and support staff with strategies that can be used to support their needs.
