This full day course provides an in depth exploration of Autism, with a focus on supporting children and young people in educational settings. The training
delves into key areas such as executive functioning, central coherence, and
theory of mind, helping educators understand how these cognitive differences
impact learning and behaviour. A part of the training focuses on recognising and supporting girls on the spectrum who are often misunderstood due to more subtle presentations.
Through reflective discussion and real life case studies, delegates will leave with a deeper understanding of how to create an inclusive, empathetic and supportive learning environment for all autisitc learners.
